JC Sumit Khaitan | Zone Director Training

Jc JFP Sumit KhaitanBorn to Sri Mahabir Pd Khaitan and Smt Parvati Devi Khaitan in the respected khaitan family of Tinsukia. He completed his schooling from Vivekanad Kendra Vidyalaya and later on graduated from Guwahati Commerce College, Guwahati.

He joined Leo club in 1994 as a member of Leo Club of Guwahati Greater as served the club as Secretary, President and then went on to become the District President of Leo District Council 322 D in the year 1998-99 and was awarded as 100% district President award from lions Clubs International for his exemplary leadership.

He joined JCI in the year 2014 as the charter president of JCI Tinsukia and was instrumental in initiating many new projects in his tenure. It was his leadership which still makes the chapter one of the most vibrant chapter of the zone. 

He is currently serving the Zone XXV as the Zone Director training and has set a benchmark in the training area by organising over 80 online trainings in the lockdown period in the entire zone. It was for the first time in the history of zone xxv that a monthly training program for all the chapters was initiated under the name of chaupal. Many new concepts like training referral program, LEAD was introduced for the first time in the history of zone xxv.

To his credit, he has attended many training programs and attended the prestigious Nalanda in 2017. He is currently the Certified National Trainer of JCI India.

Apart from these, He is closely associated with many social and business organisation like Marwari Yuva Manch, National Chamber of Commerce, Tinsukia. He is currently the Executive member of National Chamber of Commerce. 

He is happily married to Jc Neetu Khaitan and blessed with two daughter Miss Aarushi Khaitan, who is a junior jaycee member and Miss Anwesha.
